Nobody suggested this. You must have not made enough mud pies as a kid to push sticks in, burnt enough ants with a magnifying glass, or something...

wow, that was uncalled for

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

Commiserating with all of you ... we filed in early November and are still waiting for either RFE or NOA2 (Vermont). Based on the timelines, however, seems like we are not alone.

I'm confident everything will happen in a somewhat timely manner, but my fiancee is pushing to make wedding plans, etc. I did suggest early on that we at least wait for NOA2 before nailing down plans, but admittedly I also got caught up in the romance and figured our fine government would work in our favor and have everything ready by the fall.

Meanwhile I applied for a passport renewal using expedited processing ... Nat'l Passport Center in Philly received it on Feb. 14 and sent my new passport back on Feb. 16. Absolutely stunned by the speed - I wish the K-1 process were this efficient!

Best of luck to everyone!

Congratulations! So glad it came through for you! I'm hoping it's only a matter of weeks until I get mine. I'm starting a new job next week and am in the middle of filling taxes, so I see it as time to get that stuff done.
