Now you are sterotyping me. I am keen to see you demand someone that agrees with you to cite their source. Still waiting.

I'm also keen for you to cite your sources that America calculates their lifespan differently. Still waiting.

I never asked you for links to things you didn't state and I do not need. I fairly well know the history of the French influence on our country which is why I knew you were wrong. I do not care. You said the French Revolution influenced or founding fathers. You were wrong. You admitted you were wrong. Case closed. I will take your word for it that you were wrong, it is pretty evident anyway.

LOL...actually, I just got off the phone with my Dad who was a history major. He said unequivocally that the French Revolution (the elements that were long simmering in France) influenced the American Revolution. That coincides with what I was taught in college.

What I think is amusing is that you pounced on the opportunity to insult me because you are only going by the historical dates of the revolutions themselves without regarding the forces that brought about those revolutions. I guess one of us was actually paying attention to their professor while the other one was writing down dates to memorize.

I never have and never would claim you were a libertarian. Are you confusing me with someone else? I also did not stereotype you.

I'm referring to the liberal label bud..

It works until it works against America. :-)

Bypass surgery while having dynamic changes in EKG readings is not the time to schedule flights to Brazil or China, sorry. I like to bargain as much as the next guy, but I do have my limits.

So you weren't wrong? You said you were. What exactly WERE you right about? Were yopu wrong about being right, or right abut being wrong? Now gather your thoughts and phone a friend, or poll the audiance. Use all the lifelines you want...then come back and tell us on which thing you were wrong. We'll wait.

Sheeeesh.

Note to self...never point out facts to Stephen, he has a really hard time handling it.

Anyhoo, this thread has been fun. Got very political though, which is understandable. Moi, mypocket book does the talking. I come from the view of what can I get the most bang for my buck...and right now, it's universal health care in Canada. And if I need anything outside of what Canada can provide for me for free, my pocketbook will lead me to the best quality service for the fair price--and that's not in the US, lol.

I'm just practical that way. I don't screw around with my health AND money. :-)

heres how it works...

You stated your data first. I stated mine next. Booyah asked ME for proof. I asked Booyah to ask you first and when you state your data I will show mine. Ladies first.

I do not care that you are keen to see the truth and I do not care if you or anyone else believes me (health care is a dead issue anyway) This isn;t about s=data at any rate. This is to see if a liberal follows the same rules for providing evidence. so we will see if the same rules apply to both sides or if only one has to prove what they say is true. Post yours. I'll even waive the request for Booyah to ask you to show yours. I do not see that as a forthcoming possibiltiy. I judge that it is far more likely you will post your data. We can have Stephen call his Dad when we get done and see who is right.

the US has the highest rates of recovery and successful treatment. Thank you for acknowledging it. Despite universal health insurance in other countries, they fall behind. The rationing and delays in other countries more than offset the uncovered people here. Apparently enough of us DO have health insurance or can afford it. That means we are better. You don't have to like it...or care.

I think, Gary, that I will trust the World Health Organization over you and your hyper inflated sense of sense.

I guess to someone like Gary, it must be stupid of me for fearing the use of Health care here and my decision to be on the first plane to Australia, if I (knock on wood) come down with anything serious. Gary also needs to keep in mind my wife and I actually pay for two separate policies, hence double the coverage of most, yet I still prefer using Australia's system. A system where I would be able to focus on actually getting better than worrying about what is or is not covered and so on.

you really do have a complex about this don't you? Does your insurance cover mental health issues? Really Stephen, you should see someone about that insecurity thing. You made a mistake, no big deal. You admitted it. I moved on, why are you calling people at night and keep posting about this, dude, it is nothing really. Relax.

you need to keep in mind i am pro-choice. If you are sick, get on a plane anywhere you want to go. Why do you have sucha problem with me paying cash in the USA but feel you need to explain yourself to me? Really you don't. Go to whatever doctor you want.

I need to understand YOU, but I can be gang-banged all afternoon and evening by a tag team of liberals that can't make a word of sense between them just because I pay my own way? tres wierd.

I haven't seen a link or post from the WHO, have you? where?

You mean you will trust someone that SAYS they have information over me? And that is supposed to make ME look bad?

Gotta go sulk about Canada's loss to the US in Olympic hockey. Toodle-loo!

ta ta for now. Hmmm. No post of data. Strange.
