The original documents are handwritten or the translation is handwritten or both?

A new "birth certificate" wasn't created with your adoptive parents names listed at mom and dad?

Hopefully it won't be an issue. When you go to the consulate, at the end of the process, you take a copy of your birth certificate in order to be issued your visa. If whatever the adoption papers were that fulfilled a "birth certificate" function for your passport, it would seem they would be "birth certificate" worthy at the Canadian consulate.

My fiance' is at the last step gathering all the documents required to be prepared for his interview. I am sure there is someone else who has been adopted who may be of more assistance to you.

A new birth certificate wasnt made no. All I have are the adoption papers from the court in Romania. Those papers are hand written IN English (i have the photocopy only). The actual documents are in Romanian.
