I got a Traffic Ticket 16 years ago. I'm filling out my N-400 form and I'd like to disclose this ticket but I don't even remember the date when I got the ticket or how much I paid. I don't think it was more that $150 or so. It was for not stopping at a flashing red light. I searched for any records at the court from the city where I got the ticket and the website doesn't show any records of it. Furthermore the website says that the court only keeps records of minor infractions for no more than 10 years. So I don't want to put this on my form and then when asked to show proof of how much I paid not being able to show any proof of the payment. This has been my one and only ticket in 22 years of driving. Should I mention it?

No, any traffic ticket that is under $500 and non-dui related does not need to be disclosed. People have argued over this time and time again. INS states you do not have to mention it if the above is correct, eventhough the N-400 form is written in a way that causes so much confusion over the topic...
