Tax Code for Vietnam

I am tring to file my taxxes for 2009 and Indiana wants to know when my wife came to Indiana. It is a question looking for an abbrevation Vietnam like we would use for a state. The question askes "...from what state (or country)..." It says to use the approved US postal codes and I have tried "VN" but turbo tax does not like that. I have looked on the USPS web site and have not found any help there. Has anyone had this issue? And or can someone tell me the correct abbrevation for VN?

Yes, I had to do a bit of looking to find that info when filing a couple of years ago. The code is VM.

Same with Social Security. The lady at the SS office used the code VM and I asked her why she did not use VN. She said that the official Government abbreviation for Viet Nam is VM.
