All

Me again with another basic question...

I have been rather negligent (stupid is a better word) about keeping my Boarding passes when I've travelled to Colombia.. I always stay at our apartment, so no hotel receipts...

BUT...

I have dozens of stamps in my passport, all the correspondence from the travel agency including my iteneraies, and litterally hundreds of ATM and Credit Card Reciepts from Groceries, hardware stores, etc.. Also tons of digital photos..

Will I be in trouble without the copies of my boarding passes?

I am in Colombia this week and return late next week.. I will keep the return boarding pass for the trip back. Will this be enough?

Thanks

Easy answer. No. The stamps in the passport prove you were there as well so make sure you photocopy all the pages of the stamps. Perhaps even consider attaching a little document that corresponds to a page like:

Visits:

1 December 09, page 2

23 March 08, page 4

If that makes sense as if you've got a lot, it'll help explain it to them a bit better :)

Photos are secondary evidence. I included boarding passes, photocopy of passport pages and my itinerary. I included maybe 4 pics. I had no issues.

**Edit - ARM receipts and grocery receipts don't really prove that it was YOU that was there. They tend to not show the full bank account number so I wouldn't bother personally.

Actually, since his question was "Will this be enough?", the answer would be "yes".

Also, I disagree about ATM receipts. Yes, they don't show the entire account number (often only the last four or five digits), but they do also include a specific location and date. The odds of a petitioner having an ATM receipt from a foreign country printed with the correct location, date, and partial account number is pretty remote if the petitioner wasn't actually in that place at that time. If you also include a copy of the ATM card, then I would think they are very good evidence, especially if you've got a lot of them.

You could also include copies of the bank statements HIGHLIGHTING those transactions that show you used that account there...We have printed off our statements & blacked out irrelevant transactions. As was said previous -- the chances of your account being used whilst there by someone else are pretty darn remote.
