Hi! all. I'm a newbie here. But first of all, I would like to thank for your time and your comments.

I am a permanent resident in Texas since Oct-2005. This Oct-2010, It will be my 5 years in US. And I plan to file a citizenship (N-400) in July-2010. ( During my resident in Texas, I went to my home country 3 times in Cambodia. One time in 2007 for 1 month, second time in 2008 for 2 months and 3 weeks, third time in 2009 for 2 months and 2 weeks. )

+ My other plan is to file form I-129F for my fiancee after I get the citizenship.

+ Now I got married in Nov-2009 but I did not make a married license yet because of my first plan is to file a form I-129F for a fast entry.

+ I did some research over the internet and I found that I could file form I-130 under permanent resident sponsor a spouse and do an adjustment status when I have my citizenship ready.

Please tell me! Which case that cost me less money, less trouble and an easy way to do it?

Now I still don't know what to do in my case. Should I wait for my citizenship complete then file form I-129F OR file form I-130 first with a married lisence then do an adjustment status later because citizenship might take several months to complete?

Also, which documents do I need to fill out along with either form I-129F or I-130?

Thanks!

Are you or are you not LEGALLY married? That is, do you have a marriage certificate?

Read the guides for comparisons.
