I-864 & DS-230

Hello All,

I have completed I-864 and got all supporting documents for my AOS packet. I am still working on the DS-230 forms and waitting on supporting documents from my relatives. My question is: Should I wait for my DS-230 packet to complete and send them at the same time or should I just go ahead and send the AOS packet now. The reason I am asking because I just talked to my brother friend who work for an attorney office and he suggested to send them both at same time and that is what he always done for his clients. I am confused because I think those are (2) separate packets with (2) separate document cover sheets and why they need to be sent at the same time.

Another question about current income on I-864: Shoud I figure that out based on my last year tax return ('08), which includes my wages, and interest that I earn from banks (I haven't file my tax for this year '09 yet) or should I just take that from my current salary.

NO seperate different departments thats why you have to put those cover letters on top and use that address is on it.

Thank you for your reply Wali! Yes I did pay my IV fee bill. I am inprocess of filling out and submit my I-864 packet.
