As I posted before, I had an interview at Garden City on July 13. They didn't give me the result on that day, she said she will mail me in few weeks. I did ask her how long it gonna take to get the mail and she said may be one week, one month or one year depend on the security check. I did worried about the result since we quite had bad impression with her. The day laler my hubby did contact the congressman since he's a member of chamber of commerce and explain them. Teh congressman said he will contact INS and follow up for us.

I have checked my case status and found all my application (I 485,I130,EAD and AP) had been touched on July 22. FYI, my EAD and AP had been approved since 5/4/06. Then my EAD and AP had been touch again on 7/27/06. I quite confuse since both application had been approved long times ago. I call the call center but couldn't get any good answer.

Till last Friday, the congressman called us and advised that my I 485 has been approved. INS already update my file and ask for card process. I did check my case status again but nothing change. All message still the same, will mail you the decision once the process don. But i received a letter from the congressman attached a fax from INS /NY office said my I 485 has been granted since July 13 and they already order to produce my card. I will be received it within a few weeks.

I just want to shre this to anyone who had interview with Garden City. Your case may be been approved but they just don't update the case status. I think they might need at least 4-6 weeks to update case status online.

I will post again once I have the official approval notice from INS.

Good luck.
