I am preparing my husband's AOS papers and having trouble finding some numbers. How do I locate his admission number and A# ? one of the forms is also asking for his I-94 number.

5/24/2009 -- received NOA1

8/14/2009 -- NOA2 date

8/19/2009 -- received NOA2

8/24/2009 -- received letter from NVC

8/27/2009 -- NVC left

9/01/2009 -- consulate received, signed by BERNARDINO

9/21/2009 -- St. Lukes Medical

12/15/2009 -- Interview --- PASSED

12/19/2009 -- VISA received

12/26/2009 -- Arrival. POE: Los Angeles, Ca.

01/13/2010 -- Applied for State ID

01/14/2010 -- Applied for SSN

01-15-2010 -- Wedding Day

I am preparing my husband's AOS papers and having trouble finding some numbers. How do I locate his admission number and A# ? one of the forms is also asking for his I-94 number.

His A# will be written above his name on the NOA2 you received when your I-129F petition was approved. It is also probably written on the visa itself. It's format is A###-###-###.

His I-94 number is the large number at the top of his I-94. It may be a 7-8 digit number, followed by a dash and another 3 digits. Either way, it's the biggest number at the top of the I-94.

I haven't the foggiest idea what an "admission number" is. Which numbered question on which form is asking for that? If you tell us which form and which question is asking for it, it'll be easier for us to check our own paperwork.
