Because of her limited English comprehension, and still carry her Chinese street lifestyle over to the America, she thinks that the black woman is stereotyping Chinese people and very disrespectful.

Well, to say the least, this is a problem of misunderstanding rather than a race issue. The other Chinese who speak English in the bus aren't defending this woman. And, the same can be said that the black woman isn't as hostile toward the Chinese woman by spitting out derogatory. The black woman wanted to be a justified as possible as try not to over exert her own aggression.

The black woman may not have been as hostile verbally, but she did throw the first punch.

I'm a major advocate of self-defense, including using a firearm when necessary. But considering the creature hadn't pulled a weapon (at least, I didn't see one, though man says he had a knife in the second video Dave and Helena posted), pumping nine rounds into him would have been way beyond self-defense.
