Hello,

After lurking here for sometime, reading others stories, learning things I didnt know about the entire process, and asking just a couple questions, we are finally ready.

I have started printing off the paperwork, looking at going to buy a book to organise all my things in, planning THE garage sale, going through things in my house I dont want to take with me. Mentaly preparing for the big move as well as getting all my little ducks in a row.

I am excited to finaly see a light at the end of a tunnel where I no longer will have to leave him after a 4-9 day visit, where I dont see him for months on end. Because that just sucks !!!

I have no question here, only looking to become more a part of this amazing community. To hopefully find others who are starting out this long paperwork process, and to thank the others who have finished the process and come back here to help others with there knowlegde and guidance.

April 2007 - Met online

Oct. 2008 - He came to Canada to meet me

Dec 25 2009 officially engaged

March 2010 - sent off I-129F

March 27 2010 - Vermont receives package :)

April 3 2010 - Informed through mail that cheque is cashed NOA1

May 28 2010 - RFE notification ( yeah Im online checking alot >.< )

June 5 2010 - RFE hardcopy received

June 18 2010 - RFE returned ( had done it June 7 - but USPS returned grrrr )

--- case says we should hear from them in 60 days from June 18 ---

June 23 - Touched

Aug4 - Email notification of NoA2 :)

Aug. 10 - NOA2 Hardcopy received

Sept. 13 - Faxed off Package 3

Sept 14 - Interview notification set for Oct. 5

Oct. 5 2010 Interview Passed

March 17 2011 POE Canadian/US border

April 1 2011 Marriage

Mailed AOS June 1

Chicago Lockbox confirms delivery June 3

Check cashed through bank - notification June 9

Good luck in the process, Just had to say goodbye to mine for 4 months and this will be the longest amount of time we have spent apart so not looking forward to it....but its comfating to know that there is now light at the end of the tunnel.

Apr 20 2010 - Medical in London
Mar 23 2010 - NVC sent case to London
Mar 22 2010 - NVC got our case - London case # issued
Mar 17 2010 - NOA2 approved and our 1 year anniversary
Dec 12 2009 - NOA1 hard copy
Dec 02 2009 - I-129F posted via USPS
