Hi guys,

When I look at some users' timelines it says "touched". How do you check if your I-130 has been touched online? Is there an official site?

Also, posted a question about how long it takes to process a RFE and got no response...does anyone know?

the site to check if it was touched is: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard.do

Under the last updated date...that is where it shows it was "touched". Only when it changes...if that link dont work, just go to www.uscis.gov and on the left side there will be a check my case status.

As far as the RFE goes...once they show they received it, they start processing it right away...but sometimes it takes some time for them to start looking at your case. Mine was expedited, so ours was approved pretty quick after they received the evidence.

You can check status on the USCIS website - not always updated in a timely manner, though. Not sure about RFE's, guess it would depend on what the RFE is for, and what country it is, stuff like that.
