Hi.. All...

I'm LPR in US and I got married in India 7months ago. Now I would like to apply I-130 for my spouse. Can I file I-130 from US-Embassy - Delhi? Or else can I apply for citizenship then I file I-130 once I go back to US? Which makes the process faster?? Is there any other immediate way to process the visa to bring my spouse to US with me? I was living in the USA for 6 years...

Do I have to wait 3months to start naturalization process for my absence in US over 7-8months?

Then what's the processing time for naturalization? My Physical presence is not there during these 7months of marital life, do I need to wait for 3more months when I get back to US and start naturalization process?? :crying:

Please reply me ASAP...

well i can't really advise anything. but how long ago were you out of the US for over 7-8 months? Doesn't that violate the continuous residence requirement? if it does then you will have to wait much longer than 3 months to apply for naturalization. But again I might be wrong. Somebody please confirm this.

YOU SAID YOU STAYED HERE IN THE US FOR 6 YEARS ALREADY? ---- you should be able to apply for naturalization which will take months till

from submitting your application to your auth taking.

YOU SAID YOU GOT MARRIED THERE IN YOUR COUNTRY AND WANTED TO FILE I-30? --- you can file now even if you are an LPR as long as you're

here in the US. i did asked US embassy in my country if i can file it from there and they said no.. i should be here in the US, and for filing this as an LPR, it'll take years my friend.

YOU SAID YOU STAYED OUT OF THE US FOR 8MONTHS ALREADY? then that will unable you to file your citizenship. only allowed to be out less than 6months if you're trying to accumulate your years of stay here in the US.

i hope you can get some idea from it... but im sure we have friends from here that can give additional details too.
