Thanks J&K. Now I can freely admit that I NEVER watch women's hockey. I've tried...but I just can't enjoy it at all. It's my least liked Olympic sport, next to Curling.

I didn't get curling at all until I watched part of the US vs Japan women's match last night, with the Wikipedia article for Curling open in Safari for reference, to understand what was going on. Now I actually think it's kinda interesting.

I agree with the person on here that said watching a blow-out is not "good hockey".

To me, good hockey is when the 2 teams are equally close to winning it.

Should women's hockey be in the Olympics? I dunno. I'm a little biased cause Canada is good,

The Canadian women are good, and so are the US, but it would be nice to see the Russians put together a good women's team. You'd think with the men being so good, that the women would be as well!

To fully respect curling, one has to go and give it a try! They pros make it looks soo easy,but in reality it isnt! and to be a good sweeper, 1 has to be in shape, but yes the skip can be a fat bum,lol Well thats not totally true. I played in a curling league as a kid...it was called "jam can curling". We actually did quite well! But yeah...I've never liked the sport since. I can appreciate the sport...but don't enjoy it.

My wife came up to Winnipeg yrs ago and the Brier was on. She fell in love with it then! But didnt realize how difficult it was until bac here. Up at laurel curling rink they had a open house, so we went!! She fell on her butt right away and I think the rock went like 20 feet on her first throw,lol She had a new appreciation for the sport,lol

Prob get flamed for this,lol but womens hockey should NOT be in the Olympics! There just isn't enough quality teams! Its pretty much a 3 country tournament, Sweden, USA and Canada! makes more sense to have the women ski jumper competition than W. Hockey in the Olympics! Canada kicked butt on what team was it this week 18-0! And that team beat another team 87-0!! crazy! Just isnt enough skilled countries for womens hockey to be in the Olympics as of right now.

Canada Men played well last night, some real nifty passing took place.

Haha In my opinion basketball shouldn't even have a professional league Lol. Have you ever seen them fight? It's like two young drunken toddlers slapping at each other over the last blow pop

Oh and add to the fact that when one of their superstars, Dwayne Wade, got hurt a few years ago with a separated shoulder, he started to cry in front of everyone and needed a WHEELCHAIR to get to the locker room.
