I believe he did not truly follow it. He did so much illegal things to our freedoms. Like sign the patiot act. Unlawful wire taps.

I believe he did not truly follow it. He did so much illegal things to our freedoms. Like sign the patiot act. Unlawful wire taps.

Signing the Patriot Act into law was not an illegal action. You may not like what the Patriot Act says, but its passage was perfectly legal (and supported by all US Senators except for Russ Feingold).

There were illegal wiretaps that did not comply with FISA. I'm amazed to this day how easily that was brushed off at the time. Nonetheless, FISA was amended in 2007, still during the Bush term, to bring the government's wiretapping actions into compliance with the law. So, it's all good now...

That's perhaps the most balanced post I've seen in while but it will never sink into posters like Yogi. You can lead a thirsty fool to a fountain of knowledge and guys like him would die before drinking in the info if it meant they'd have to challenge their beliefs.

Obama's been a disaster for the economy but I'll give him some credit for not being a complete idiot on foreign policy. He hasn't had a new crisis abroad so it will be interesting how he handles himself.
