transfering credit history to USA

That's a good thing to know. I might have hubby go open an RBC account, since there is a branch 5 minutes from the house here in FL.

Sounds like Wyatt actually got someone who knows what they are doing - but that isn't always the case, I suggest if your Husband does decide to do this that he goes to a main branch where hopefullly he will get someone with some experience.

Yup...I was dealing with someone at the branch in Orlando on South Orange Ave.

We're not going to bother with the credit transfers. We've transferred some money from my CAD account to our joint account here in the US, and then we'll add my name to the account and I'll build my credit from there :)

12/24/12 - E-mail notification that file sent to NBC (now able to check case status online!)

12/28/12 - E-mail notification that biometrics notice was sent!

01/08/13 - Biometrics!

04/02/13 - Interview! Passed!

May 2013 - Oath Ceremony!

so i'm wondering..sears and best buy canada both have cards from chase bank in canada. i'm wondering if chase would xfer those over to the usa. along with any credit history...

anyone know if chase would do that?

nvm answered my own question...the store cards in the usa from those two are offered by diff banks..so it's not transferable../sigh
