hello everyone! i finally sent my Application to USCIS last January 27th 2010.. i have received a letter for a biometrics appointment scheduled on February 15, 2010.. however i also received a letter which states, Request For INITIAL EVIDENCE?

THE HOUSEHOLD MEMBER ON THE PETITIONER'S/SPONSOR'S FORM I-864, AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT/FORM I-864A, CONTRACT BETWEEN HOUSEHOLD MEMBER MUST SUBMIT ALL SUPPORTING TAX DOCUMENTATION (W-2'S, 1099'S, ETC) SUBMITTED TO THE IRS FOR THE MOST RECENT TAX YEAR.

THE HOUSEHOLD MEMBER NEEDS TO SUBMIT ALL SUPPORTING TAX DOCUMENTS FOR THE MOST RECENT TAX YEAR

THE HOUSEHOLD MEMBER ON FORM I-864A CONTRACT BETWEEN SPONSOR AND HOUSEHOLD MEMBER, FAILED TO SUBMIT PROOF OF CURRENT INCOME. PLEASE SUBMIT EVIDENCE OF THE HOUSEHOLD MEMBER'S CURRENT INCOME. SUCH EVIDENCE SHOULD INCLUDE:

LETTER OF EMPLOYMENT CONTAINING THE FOLLOWING

DATES OF EMPLOYMENT

NATURE OF THE JOB

WAGES OR SALARY EARNED

NUMBER OF HOURS PER WEEK WORKED

PROSPECTS FOR FUTURE EMPLOYMENT OR ADVANCEMENT

PAY STUBS OR OTHER DOCUMENTATION OF PAY FOR THE PREVIOUS 6 MONTHS

MY QUESTIONS ARE:

1. DO I NEED TO SUBMIT THE 2009 INCOME TAX RETURN? I ALREADY SUBMITTED 3 YEAR INCOME TAX RETURNS OF MY HUSBAND(2006,2007,2008)

2. I INCLUDE MY MOTHER IN LAW AS ONE OF MY SPONSOR, BUT SHE HAS NO JOB AT ALL. IS SHE ELIGIBLE TO BE MY SPONSOR THOUGH SHE HAS NO JOB? IS IT OKAY IF WE PUT THE TITLE OF THE HOUSE AS HER ASSETS? ARE THERE ANY OTHER ASSETS SHE CAN PUT IN THE AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT?

THANKS TO YOU ALL IN ADVANCE!

1. looks like you to do need to submit the 2009 (THE HOUSEHOLD MEMBER NEEDS TO SUBMIT ALL SUPPORTING TAX DOCUMENTS FOR THE MOST RECENT TAX YEAR)

2. is there anybody else you can include as sponsor (someone who is employed). remember that co-sponsorship means the person will take over/contribute to the job of financially supporting the intending immigrant

if asking about 'household member', then, IMO, is asking about co-sponser.

Why use this person as a co-sponser? if no job? If they have ASSETS, use and show the ASSETS, and write a letter of attestation (that this co-sponser must sign) signifying there is no job.

If they have no assets, and no job, and no taxable income, then I suggest you find OTHER co-sponser.

** moving to Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from Family Based Visas forum - smells like AOS filed from K-3 visa, already in USA **
