wasn't able to edit my initial post so i replied to it instead...My husband is a LPR, about to apply for citizenship in June. If he files I130 for me now, would I be eligible for a work permit as well, or do I have to wait till after he takes his oath to upgrade the petition and apply for that?Plus, I am already in the US (F1 status),are there any additional forms required?Thanks

Dont wait .... ASk him to apply now. When he get's his Citizenship update the file.

Will save you 2-3 months if not more...
