Just curious...VSC got my papers on Nov 4th, My Biometrics was done on Dec 11th.

From Dec 11th to Feb 16th the status has been Initial Review....Last updated date is the day I did my FP.....

Since then there has been no touch, movement, or anything whatsoever.....

Is that normal...has anyone else faced this...over 2 months of nothing...or did all your cases get 'touched'

As creepy as it sounds Im dying for that 'touch'...lol

My status has not changed since Feb, 2009, yet my case was complete in September 2009 and I got approved for my visa Feb 9, 2010.

I wouldn't worry about it, sometimes it just doesn't update.

yeah that is some breaking news Dakine !!!

I think all VSC people went skiing with all that snow that fell in the north east... maybe no one is there to process the applications as there hasn't been real updates in the October filers list for over 2 weeks now... last week 1 approval and an RFE...

I hope they don't break their legs on their way down the slops and hurry back to their desks so we can get on with our lives!!!!

Yup mine has not changed since i submitted the initial application. Not even my interview showed up. Even though i got approved at interview it still says my application is on initial review. So don't rely on the online status update.

They have been very diligent with my petition. They updated each and every step once the decision has been made. I wonder if someone in VSC ready my complaints on VJ

Anyway, I agree with happychap, so keep all methods of communication open, mail boxes, text messages, email, online account... etc.. etc.... etc......

good luck and hope for a speedy approval for all!

This will make you feel a little better. We filed in July and we are still waiting. I called USCIS today and made them aware that we are over 6 months since filing. The woman I talked with took down all the info and will submit Referrals to CSC. One for my wife and one for the boy. She had no clue what was going on, but the Referrals will draw the attention of CSC. Anway, hang in there. There is light at the end of the tunnel....

When I was on AOS I had no touches till I was approved. For two years I had no touches. So many things were happening with my case but they never updated online. It is frustrating. It is as if my name is too long and they cannot update my case online.
