I currently live in America (Michigan) and my finace lives in Montreal QC. She is going to be having our babies soon and I wonder what the fastest way for me to be able to stay there would be. I plan on filing an extended stay once I arrive, however I have called immigration offices and custums and I never get a straight answer. I need to know what forms to file to be able to stay and help with the children. I do not have any special job traits or do not wish to attend any colleges. I just need to know the best route to go for me to be able to stay there and eventually obtain canadian citizenship. I was told I could be sponsored however I do not know which forms or which visas to choose.

Thank you for your time.
