Sent off the package  !! very excited :)

No pictures tonight...at work again and went straight to sleep after staples + post office

Honeymoon is already booked and the real reason to not change is because of my work. It's hard to get a lot of vacation time off and I put in for this vacation back in January and at first didn't get it all, but in May, got the rest of it off that I requested. Hawaii will still be there if we leave :)

Eclipse--okay. 2 things.

Edward would never EVER let Bella on a motorcycle with Jake in the beginning. In the book it was with Alice and Bella only got away with it because it was a surprise thing and they were in the school parking lot.

Bella was all about how she's doing the whole changing to a vampire not just because of Edward but because she wants to be part of that world. NOT true  she's ALL about Edward.

Do you notice how in the books she doesn't really talk about giving up human stuff like eating, sleeping, etc? I would miss that.

I added you and the others here to this UK AOS timeline that we started last year. If anybody wants to keep it going and will help with editing it, PM me. You can look at all of 2009 and 2010 so far to get an idea of how long the steps have taken various people. The years are on tabs at the bottom. It's interesting how many were transfered to CSC last year. And it seems like those filing in the summer months got through much quicker. Maybe this is a great time for you guys to file .

(L) Rachel, you're wedding looks lovely.

We found some make-shift wands to duel  for those who do not know, we met randomly in Toronto at a Harry Potter conference and we are HUGE nerds. We are going to Florida next week for another HP conference which will also include going to the new HP theme park!

Hi everyone! Congrats to Beatlesrebel for sending off your AOS package! Yay!

Well, the wedding was two weeks ago this sunday so I have been a little (ahem... that's the understatement of the century) pre-occupied for the last few weeks but I have a couple of pics I thought I'd share with you all! It was a wonderful day and I'm so happy that finally at last we're husband and wife! Ahhh now to sort out our own AOS package!

Check out the english afternoon tea! :D

Yay on sending the package!! Good point about vacation times, didn't think about that. Here's hoping all will go well! I confess, I've not read the books. My mom (who got me hooked on the movies) has and she agreed with you on both of your points! lol Yeah, I would miss those things too!

Sounds awesome!! We figured it was MUCH easier to do it this way! Once we're able to go back to the UK, we'll have some kind of reception or the like for his friends and family to attend!

What the heck? We got Phill's NOA letters in the mail on July 10th with the receipt numbers for his AOS. I've gone out to the USCIS website to put the receipt #'s in to track his case and it just keeps saying the number is invalid.

We got our AOS interview date today! It's on August 16. According to our notice, they received our application on June 1 (we mailed it on May 26). Looks like things are picking up - godspeed other May/June appliers!

Woohoo!! You'll have to be sure to let us know how it goes!!

Haha, I just made a new friend out here, who is more Harry Potter obsessed than I am. She told me about this place down in LA, a Harry Potter superstore, that is set out like the wizarding world and Diagon Alley, with loads of stores, cant wait to check it out!

Oh how fun! Wish we had something like that here!
