I don't get it. The sensible thing to do, after having put everything on hold since March, would have been to send the first batch of RFEs to everyone who applied in March. Second batch to April. Third batch to May etc. Not willy nilly as they've done. Now approvals are just as random. It really pisses me off.

I'm gonna put EXACTLY that in my email to the senator's office!!!! (well, maybe not willy nilly)

You know, I've been in a few gov't agencies, and one that I remember in particular...I physically went down there because I was sick of waiting for return phone calls. So I'm standing there waiting to talk to this person in person, and Im just kind of observing things. The first thing I noticed is hardly anybody is at their desk...I have no idea where they were, but most were not present, but I could see plenty of "work stations" (I use the term loosely). Then I began to examine these work stations. Yes, people have a tendency to decorate where they work with pictures, maybe some plants, and knick-knacks. But these work stations were quite amazing. They looked like freaking mini-livingrooms!!! What with hanging this, and dangling that, and stuffed animals, and souvenier collections, etc, etc.

The whole culture at these places must drive a productive person crazy.
