Is an affidavit for consent to U.S. permanent residency of a child from the left-behind parent required for adjustment of status? (Kazakhstan, if it makes a difference.)

Tom,

Your biggest problem mightt come when you try to go through passport control with the child when leaving Kazakhstan. But I'm sure you thought of this already.
