Do you also need record of being single in Canada? I found that one to be a bit annoying.

The one VJ'er I can think of that needed it, was on a work visa in Canada, originally from the Philippines. She had to obtain a record from the Philippines.

This is kind of off-topic but these topics always amuse me because I used to run criminal record checks for immigrants...never thought I'd have to do the same myself one day!

Met: December 2009

Married: April 2015

Received CR-1 visa: February 2017

POE (as IR-1): April 2017

Oath ceremony: November 2020
