Nobody gets "switched", you need to understand what you have petitioned for... The I-130 petition is for the IR/CR... the I-129F was for the K-3. So now that both petitions have been approved you can now choose your visa path... if you want IR/CR then respond to NVC... If you don't then do NOT respond to NVC

No.

As of February 1st NVC is administratively closing the I-129F and moving forward with the CR-1/IR-1 when both petitions are received at the same time. K-3 is now obsolete.

correct, I called the NVC to ask about my case, and was talking to an operator about this. As of Feb 1st 2010, "IF" your I-130 and I-129f get approved at the same time, then they will process it as a CR-1/IR-1, if the I-130 approved and then gets sent to the NVC before the I-129f then they are going to keep it as an CR-1/IR-1, if your I-129f gets approved and sent to the NVC before your I-130 then when Your I-130 gets approved and sent you are still switched to only proceeding with the CR-1/IR-1........

So in a nutshell... after I was like :wacko: The NVC is not processing the I-129f petition and they are being sent back to the USCIS... the petition is now obsolete.
