Sweet, I can watch TV on my computer. Hopefully I will get to see some of the Olympics. They aren't being streamed right now.

one has to keep checking back on the site, as the lineup changes

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

NBC just did an interesting segment on Polar Bears in Manitoba. Anyone else see?

I don't mind the US coverage... although I miss the Canadian focus.

I've also noticed that my American friends aren't as into the Olympics as my Canadian friends.... I guess partly because Canada is hosting...

Yeah..I just watched that...Very cool bears!...

I wish I had polar bears in my backyard.....

Lol...Likewise, I don't mind the NBC coverage.....

But I miss the CBC coverage even more!....

Lol..On top of that...I only live a hundred miles or so away from Canadian coverage..... :crying:

I think need to go back to Canada before the olympics are over.....

I agree too, Americans aren't as interested.....(lol..except for this American/Canadian.....)

Think it might be an "inferiority complexity" in reverse......

Americans jealous of the Canadians....;)

For example...yesterday...

My husband (the American) wanted to watch the Daytona 500...

I (the Canadian/American) wanted to watch the Olympics...

We were switching back and forth between the channels....

Was sort of  ......But we compromised....

And managed to celebrate Valentine's Day too....lol......(L)...

Yup...That's what (L) is....Compromise!.....

"Give your Canadian spouse/significant other the remote when watching the olympics!"..........

Ok, I may have found some Canadian proxies for you. I'm in Montreal this weekend, so I can't test it...

http://www.freeproxy.ca/

Otherwise, google: "canadian proxy"+ctv - then it's a matter of testing the proxies (recent answers should be more reliable, since proxies details tend to change quickly).

Good luck.

Has anyone tried to see if it works. It keeps telling me that I don't have the latest version of flash player even though I do.
