I loved them poking fun at themselves for the technical difficulties that led to the 4th arm not rising during the opening ceremonies. The clown-faced tech with the oversized actions to get it working was great! What a Canadian response to the situation, too :D .

Let it not be said that Canada doesn't have a sense of humor. :P

HaHaHa,, Cool - President Obama and Prime Minister Harper had a bet on the US Canada hockey game - the loser gets to send a case of beer (Molsen's Canadian for Harper) to the winner :P

That's awesome... they get the fourth arm up, and Catriona Le May Doan gets to light the indoor cauldron as she didn't get to two weeks ago. :-D HILARIOUS and poetic. :-D

Props to PM Harper for coming to the events too... Ive only caught a handful of finals games, and I saw him several times. I thought that was really nice -- supporting our athletes!

Finally married... and still married... ;)

Ohhhhh, The other flags are all raised but the Chilean flag bearer is holding hers lowered as they entered :( . The 4 athletes tried to get home yesterday but there are no flights yet into Chile. How bittersweet for them.

Actually I was thinking that too lol

I mean the other countries had their kings too (kings of Norway and Sweden were at the curling finals, the Dutch PM was there for the speed skating event)... and Im sure they were super busy but its like a big deal right?

I was thinking that Obama could have been at the events -- maybe he didnt have to get air time (the air time of Harper was literally a few seconds max, and during the men's curling finals, I heard from the tv -- was making dinner then, that he was sitting with the women curlers who all wore their medals), but Im sure the teams would have appreciated having him there.

So happy to see Miller walking with the US team!! I wouldn't pass up attending the closing ceremonies either!

Go Miller! :star: (I liked his goalie mask in the game too...Cool Uncle Sam on it...)

Sigh...Too bad about that last goal though......

Oh well..He'll be a hometown hero to us here in Buffalo, NY and area....

Nevertheless, glad that Team Canada won....Really, the Canadians deserved this one...
