Wow. I have to believe that the IOC had no approval over the ceremonies once the cauldron was extinguished. :rofl: Shatner and Catherine O'Hara have been hi-freakin'-larious. :D

Why?

They're both physical, mental and competitive activities.

Curling is a sport. It may not be all that physical compared to other sports, but there is strategy and a quantifiable winner and loser. Ice Dancing is just not a sport. My litmus test is that if the winner is not defined by a time, or a standard score, it's not a sport. The only exception to that rule is Golf. Sorry, it's not a sport if someone carries your equipment and you ride in a little car. :lol:
