Approved I130 for my parents today

I130 for my parents today!!

A month ago, I was asked to submit a copy of my birth certificate called Ho-Juk-Deung-Bon in Korea.

Since our family registry has been changed as of Jan. 1 2008, Ho-Juk-Deung-Bon is not available.

To prove my birth in conjunction with the relationship with my parents, I had to submit three related documents: my personal record, parent's marriage certificate, and family registry showing my whole family. I also submitted an statement indicating that family registry has been changed.

I also got all documents notarized. Mailed last Friday, got a message that they have received on Tuesday, and got an approval message on This morning(Saturday).

If you or your spouse/fiance(e) are Korean, please note that our family registry system has been changed.

So - now on to NVC? Or you got something else going on ?
