Dear all,

I found this below and I am sure this may be a usefull info for those like me are about to send the forms:

In preparing your packet, please take note of the following:

*

Do not use binders or folders that cannot be easily disassembled.

*

Use ACCO fasteners to hold together thick or bulky applications or petitions. Two-hole punching the top of the material for easy placement in the file is appreciated.

*

The use of tabs assist in locating items listed as attachments. The tabs should be placed on the bottom and not the side for ease in filing.

*

Avoid using heavy-duty staples; instead use ACCO fasteners or heavy clips

ps: I also found that you have to date and sign ANY sheet of yr supplements attached..

Anything you do will be taken apart and put into USCIS folder files as they choose. From having a friend as an adjudicator, I can tell you what they REALLY appreciate is just put it all in the envelope with a binder clip.

Supplemnetal sheets do NOT have to be signed and dated, very few arrive that way. You SHOULD make very clear what it is a supplement to and put the names of both the petitioner and beneficiary on the top of the page. It is also not a bad idea to paper clip associated documents together.

Anything else is optional. The only thing required is that all the documents needed arrive at the service center, the I-129f is signed, the letters of intent are signed, and the check is there and signed. Other than that, your file will look like every other file shortly after they receive it. The files are dissected and put in order before an adjudicator ever sees them. It is debateable if the 2 hole punches are appreciated in the mail room, but the adjudicator will never know the difference. This is done BEFORE they cash your check. If the basic things are not in order they reject the file and return it to you with the check. Cashing the check does not mean you will not get an RFE, it just means everything that needed a signature was signed and the payment was made in the correct amount

VERMONT! I Reject Your Reality...and Substitute My Own!

We put ours in a binder with tabs on the side with everything marked and labelled. They seemed to cash our check so fast without any problem lol.laughing.gif

Just follow the guide on VJ, I think putting the passport photo in a small zip bag and clip it together with the G325a is a very good idea. Small stuffs like photos can easily be lost/misplaced.
