The instructions for the DS-156 form say to only use english characters and question calls for the passport number but on a Russian passport it shows this:

11 № 1111111

What do I use as a replacement character or do we leave it out altogether?

** Topic is more DOS/Interview-related (not so muxh "K-1 Procedures[") and may be better suited in the "US Embassy/Consulate Discussion" forum - however, will move thread to the " Russia, Ukraine and Belarus" (aka RUB) forum so you may get a more specific answer.

I wanna say I put 11NO11111111 but it's been so long now I don't remember. Either way, just keep it consistent.

I'm looking at a copy of Alla's passport and there are only numerals for the number.

Are you talking about an internal passport or the international passport?
