Bryan Adams isn't dead?

OMG - looks like he's had major face surgery done.

Good Save on the lip sync, though, for the first 'lead in' . Good Lord !

Here was something I found interesting.

The Governor General of Canada, Michaëlle Jean (a native of Haiti) was properly introduced at the start of the ceremony with the Vice Regal Salute.

The Viceregal Salute is composed of the first six bars of the Royal Anthem ("God Save the Queen") followed by the first and last four bars of the national anthem ("O Canada"). During the latter part, the cameras panned to the Prime Minister Stephen Harper, and his wife.

Harper could be seen mouthing the words to O Canada, and then stumbled over the words as the truncated version of the anthem ended.

Not a big deal by any stretch, but raised an eyebrow to me.

Of course, the entry of the Georgian delegation, clearly still in shock and wearing black arm bands, was the most touching part of the procession.

re: Bryan Adams lip sync - I dunno - maybe it was the sound gear - but it really looked like he put the mike to his mouth after the third beat (where there was sound on beats 1,2 and 3).

I know stadium to tv sound syncing is a problem, but Oh My. Plus a tv-timeout on a lag... oh well.

By the Time Sarah started singing though - I think they got it all sync'd up .. sound n tv .
