I'm trying to get as much done for Packet 3 while waiting for the NOA2, and I have a question on DS-230. On item #40 question (a.) it states...

"An Alien who has a communicable disease of public health significance; who has failed to present documentation of having received vaccinations in accordance with U.S. Law; who has...blah..blah..blah.."

My question is, what exactly does 'failed' mean? (who has failed to present documentation of having received vaccinations in accordance with U.S. Law) My fiancee does not have proof of her vaccines. Does that mean we should mark that as a "Yes" because at her medical exam she will fail to present documentation of having received vaccines? However she will have her vaccines prior to AOS and at that point she will have documentation of vaccines. Also at this point in time, there has been no requirement for proof of vaccines, so there has been no failure to provide documentation. In my mind it could be "Yes" and it could be "no" depending on what 'failed' means.

Why are you filing out a DS 230 for a fiance K1 visa?

Does Thailand require a DS 230 and no DS 156?

Edited by Dakine

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

Some consulates use the DS-230 Part I as a part of the K-1 application process....

YMMV
