I just joined here and filled out my 'Visa Timeline'. I don't see any place here to enter any personal information though. It seems to me that a place with this much infomation would have a section where each member could fill out some sort of bio. Maybe I am missing something. I wonder if here are any others such as myself, living in Arizona, who's fiance is in, or who's wife is from, Thailand.

Are there other forums like this one, but maybe geared towards helping couples from similar backgrounds, from the same parts of the USA, to have the opportunity to meet each other?

It would be nice to come to a forum like this and be able to find other people who are bringing, or who have brought fiance's to Arizona from Thailand. Is there a way to get this information? Are USCIS immigration details public records? Would it be possible for me to get a list of recent immigrants from Thailand to Arizona?

If you click on "Tucson" or "Thailand", you can see other members who are going through that local office and consulate.

Alternatively, you can do an advanced search under the "members" link, restricting to Tucson and Thailand.

You might also try the regional forums to find issues that relate directly to Thailand.

Good luck with your journey!

You will find everyone in this forum to be very helpful. Read through the Guides first, they will explain alot to you. Also, post your timeline through your signature in my controls.

Once you establish other VJ's in your same geographic region, you can pm them and have your own discussions. Their are lots of fiances from Thailand. If you go to the Geographic forum you will find more regional discussion as well.

Good luck with the process and practice patience. You will need it as this is a very trying process, but remember in the end it is to be united with your loved one.

It's ok, it takes a while to get used to things. Just look at the post you just made. On the left hand side you see details about yourself: type of visa, local office, consulate, etc..

ETA: I did a search for others going through Thailand and Tucson, and it looks like you're the only one so far! But there are plenty from Thailand and Tucson individually.

Bill,

To the left of each of your posts is a section showing the type of visa you are applying for, where your fiancee is from and your local office. Clicking on Tucson or Thailand in this section will take you to a list of others applying through tucson or with significant others from thailand.

I'm also sure there is a Thai section within the regional discussions forum.

Mark :)
