Unfaithful husband and a green card issue

You don't have to return your green card to go back home. If you wan't to think thru, just file for travel extension (I believe good for 1 or 2 years) and keep your green card with you. If you would like to return permanently and there is nothing to think about it, just file for the form and return it or leave the country and let it expire. You have no obligation over green card if you would like to go back.

Here is my story:

I haven't been married with him for 5 years. Last year ( June, 2009) I came to US to visit him because he got the accident and I found out he has been in a relationship with another girl..they r in love each other..I talked and gave him a second chance..back then we also processed IR-1 also..

Now, I'm here in US with 10 years GC and found out that he is so in love with her and want her to be by his side and want her to be a part of the family. I reason I'm here because of him..

I gave him a chance..he didn't wanna work it out. So, I think I'm gonna get divorced and go back home which I had a secure job back there..and I have nothing here in US.

The question is

Should I call the USCIS don't send me the GC and I wanna cancel everything about GC issue?

Thanks guys!

it wont hurt if you keep it you never know i highly recommend you keep your green card instead of cancel it
