Unfaithful husband and a green card issue

Here is my story:

I haven't been married with him for 5 years. Last year ( June, 2009) I came to US to visit him because he got the accident and I found out he has been in a relationship with another girl..they r in love each other..I talked and gave him a second chance..back then we also processed IR-1 also..

Now, I'm here in US with 10 years GC and found out that he is so in love with her and want her to be by his side and want her to be a part of the family. I reason I'm here because of him..

I gave him a chance..he didn't wanna work it out. So, I think I'm gonna get divorced and go back home which I had a secure job back there..and I have nothing here in US.

The question is

Should I call the USCIS don't send me the GC and I wanna cancel everything about GC issue?

Thanks guys!

If you wanna go home, you can surrender your GC at the border.

If you want to stay, you can.

It's totally your decision.

When you get to your home country, go to the US consulate with your green card and ask for a form I-407. Complete the form and submit it to the consulate, along with your green card.

Divorce him, Go home maintaining the GC. Who knows? You may meet someone else and end up in the US.

Best to keep as many options as you can.

LOTS of Americans would love to meet you..

Don't think for one minute just because you want to go back home that you need to

give up the green card. You're as likely to meet a USC in Thailand as you are in the US

and if you do and it seems to work, you would have to repeat your immigration nightmare.

Don't give up a 10 year GC if you can help it.

The thing is if she doesn't maintain her permanent residence in the U.S. for a year or so, she'd lose her GC anyway.

She came in on IR-1, not CR-1.
