hello everyone,

My question is I have already filed for I-130 and it got accepted... now I am sending I-864 forms to NVC... and my dad and my sister are the co-sponsor... i want to know if the embassy will contact my dad and sister and talk to them about the I-864 forms? and also i want to know what kind of inquiry are they gonna do before they gave the interview date to my husband?

thanks a lot... and looking forward to hear from u all

Inquiries, in the context of the 864? If so, probably none as payx said. Inquiries, as in checks in general.. NVC sometimes does do some AP.

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

The K3 visa doesn't use the I-864. Unless both your sister and father are part of your household, (all living together) you'll need one joint sponsor who qualifies on their own. Are you sure it's the K3 visa? If so, there is no combining of income and you use the I-134, not the I-864.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
