Hello,

Did anybody could not check status online???

i received NOA and i tried many time to use the receipt number but i couldn't.

It says :

Your case can not be found at this time in My Case Status. Please check your receipt number and try again. If you need further assistance, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1.800.375.5283.

There is an * that is included in the case number with Citizenship applications. Are you including the * when you enter your number?

For what it is worth, even though my case number was entered, it was never updated. It could be that they haven't updated the system for a while. Did you try calling the Mis-information line and ask for an update with your case number? If one still doesn't show up, ask to speak to an Immigration officer. They should be able to access your file through your A number.

I called 1800.... number and they couldn't find anything too with my receipt number. and then they transfer me to immigration officer . they enter my receipt and it works for them and they could find me in system and they told me they were working to shedule my fingerprint today. and then when i tried to ask why i couldn't check it online .the call end up.

Good. I'm glad you were able to access the information through the Immigration Officer. I have heard of one other applicant who had the same difficulties and was able to update their information status only by calling in. No idea why. Hopefully your call might trigger a 'correction' to the database. At the very least, you know that things are on track. Good luck.
