So, I called the NVC and they accepted the DS3032 - i go online to the immigrantvisas.state.gov site and see where the IV bill has been generated! But I still havent gotten instructions or the I-864 form yet. Can I go ahead and pay the IV bill??? Or should I wait.. I am so eager.. I wanna get this thing paid now if I can!

As soon as our bill was generated we paid it. I think you'll be ok.

ok! Thanks Canadian. I guess Im worried cuz they say dont do anything unless they TELL you too.. I just wanna get a head start on all this stuff if I can, ya kno?

The IV bill doesn't have anything to do with the I-864 so you can pay it now. There are two paths you have to take when going through the NVC process:

1. The DS-3032 generates the IV Bill which then generates the DS-230.

2. The AOS fee generates the I-864

When both paths are completed they will complete the case and make the appointment with the embassy.

Removal of conditions Journey

16 March 2012 Sent I-751 package from Aviano AB, Italy.

29 March 2012 Received everything back...wrong fee. thought we didn't have to pay biometrics since we were sending fingerprint cards and passport photos.

30 March 2012 Sent everything out again from Aviano AB, Italy.

10 April 2012 Check cashed

17 April 2012 Received NOA1 dated 6 April.

06 Dec 2012 Received 10 yr green card. Letter said it was approved 28 November 2012.
