I filed (I-751) to remove conditions for my wife in January. When I checked the status on USCIS website the application form is listed as CRI89 not I751. Does anyone know what is CRI89? Additionally on the biometrics appointment the service center is listed as ESC, anyone what is ESC?

Although the application is I-751, the online status will show CRI89, there is nothing to worry about.

Not sure about the ESC.

Raj, calm down it's just the same as the I-751 petition. I had this same experienced last March 2008, and when I checked my USCIS case status online after receiving a biometric it appeared CR189 and stated that it processed the same case in removing conditions. I think CR means conditional resident immigrant that's why it said like that for them to avoid confusion in the processing center when they process the 10-year residency or removal of conditions because in the 2-year card if you noticed it, there's a section their that printed CF1 which i believed conditional family immigrant. And with your biometrics, just follow the instructions where to get your wife's fingerprint this is the main important here..Don't worry too much about the codes etc. for now....

You should have an address, a date and a time on your biometrics letter. This is where you go and don't worry about the ESC means. As sh18 said, it could be ASC Application Support Center, but ESC is fine too as long as you get fingerprinted.
