Hello all

I am not sure if i am posting this in the correct forum, but I would like to know what is a "touch"? I am currently in the process of removing condition on my wife's CR1 and I have filed I-751. I have seen other members post where they have said that this has occurred to their case. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

That's when you check your online status in the USCIS website and the date under "last updated" has changed from the last time you checked it. That means whoever holds your case has done something.

A lot of people don't get touched and just receive the hard copy of whatever the USCIS has processed.

Usually a touch is when someone either accesses your file or does something to it. If you do a biometrics for example, several days later you will see a touch (or a date update on your online account) but no changes in the wording or anything else.
