I was wondering if anyone has recently been to the Atlanta Office for the naturalization interview. Can you share your story?

(1) Friendly

(2) Organized

(3) If all your documents are in order and there are no flags, you get SAME DAY OATH! and SAME DAY Naturalization certificate!. Also your interview needs to be before 1:30 pm for the oath to happen same day, otherwise it will be within a week.

I live 3.5 hours away from ATL so my guess is they will assign me an early day interview so I don't have to drive again.

Actually your interview needs to be in the morning for the same day ceremony. Mine was at 1:05 and another VJers was at 12:40 and neither of us were able to do the same day ceremony.

Dont count on that to happen. It totally depends on the clerk who is going to schedule you. And I really do not think, someone whose job is to schedule interviews for 4 hrs a day will be too sensitive to the location of the interviewee.

But I pray hopefully that you will get an early interview! Best of Luck!

Thanks for the heads up, I was really relying on that to happen, but now that you mention that, I will make sure to prepare myself to go twice to ATL!!!
