Hello guys and ladies,

I was thinking when i go visit my family this time, "Middle East" to bring with me a couple of canaries from there. But the question is, is there any way to bring them to the states ?? i want bring about 4 canaries ?? so what should i do to bring them here? and how much the will cost to bring them here and is there any vaccinations required?

It will cost you a lot more to bring them in than to just buy them here. Fish and wildlife is in charge on animal immigration check there site out for the rules.

Indeed. They've also gotten a lot more strict on bringing in animals that aren't the standard cat or dog, and for birds are probably looking at a lengthy quarantine.

A 30-day quarantine costs approximately $200 per bird; cost is subject to change.

So you are looking at 800 for 4 birds

Traveling to the United States with Your

If your pet bird was acquired outside the

United States or exported abroad from

the United States without a CITES

permit, and you have resided outside the

United States constantly for 1 year, you

may import a maximum of two pet birds

per person, per year, if all applicable

requirements have been met prior to

their arrival in the United States.

So I think you are better off buying them here for $15 or so each

Awww, thanks all.. i dont know if i can find a nice lil singers canaries here. because there's type of canaries are not good when they sing or. they dont sing .. i hope i can find a good ones here. because i meant canaries they sing with non-stop even at night u cant go to bed because of them lol. this what i am looking for.

are you in California ? you need to go to all of the petstores in california until you find the birds that you want.

Hi, Yes i am in California. but i am looking for type of canaries from middle east or Holland type .. good lil singers lol

if you knew:

1. exact genus and specie or

2. exact 'english name'

of these birds, you could find them in California.
