Took my asawa out for a romantic candlelit Italian dinner and ended the evening with a night in the horsepital.

We cant afford much right now since I lost my job (but start a new job February 22, thanks to God). I dont think she got me anything, which is fine, especially with the baby coming. I have the daily Valentine of her just being here with me to share each day with now. I got her a card though that says exactly everything about her that i feel, what she does for me, how I love her. And... her favorite flowers are tulips, and favorite color is pink, so I got her some potted pink tulips, 6 in all, with 4 blooming and 2 coming along.

When we went to bed tonight she asked me if there was anything I had to do that I would have to get up for (since I usually let her fall asleep and then take care of business here, since she sleeps too early for me). And I said no... But then was real quiet to get her to go to sleep so that I could sneak out to get the flowers. I wrote in the card when I got home and have the flowers and card on the bookcase, with a small light on beside them, so when she gets up in the morning she will see them.

I sent mine white roses and card from islandrose. I sent some flowers and chocolate a while back for her birthday from manilagift which was very nice but costly for mindanao delivery. She was real surprised and happy to recieve of course

if you need gifts sent to your Girl in Mindanao let me know i am living here and have lots of connections for very inexpensive gift delivery services silly to buy from manila and have them contract to someone here and all gets a cut happy to help in the future

My husband went food shopping alone yesterday and when he came back, I asked him why he didn't call me while he was still in the car so I could have went down and helped him carry the bags. He replied, there is one more left outside go get it. I went outside and saw the flowers....I was surprised because I wasn't really expecting him to give me anything for valentines. ( I know he loves me but he is not the type who sends flowers or anything for any occasions). I love him very, very much.

Thanks for the offer. Usually I use Island Rose and they aren't expensive and they always deliver ontime.

My girl was surprised and happy to get her flowers. I can never tell her maybe you have a surprise coming because she always gets too curious.. what's that ??? hehe.. so I must not give her any hints that something will arrive. So she was really surprised
