Gordon Gekko is back!

It's 2008 and Gordon Gekko has just been released from jail. There's definitely a bit of culture shock, but Gekko is still a money whisperer and can tell which way the financial winds are blowing -- towards a stock market crash.

Unfortunately, no one will listen to his warnings, so he finally gets help from his estranged daughter's (Carey Mulligan) fiance Jacob (Shia LaBeouf), who is looking for revenge after his mentor was killed.

"Wall Street 2" will hit theaters on April 23.

Yes, I am at the moment.

That explains why you haven't been around often lately. I guess you are entertaining your in-laws and the rest of the clan.

Have fun! :star:

I hated the first film, and strongly dislike Shia LaBeouf's "acting", so I think I'll give this a miss.

When will Hollywood finally make a film about a successful capitalist that isn't severely flawed in some respect? <_<

No time soon. That wouldn't fit The Formula™, so Hollywood won't do it.

Why is that ironic?

Looks like a promising flick. The original was pretty good, though I think Boiler Room and Glengarry Glen Ross were actually better, for that genre (the evil temptations of money).

I do like the Peter Gabriel score on the Youtube clips, if that helps any.

And Puff the Magic Dragon!

Boy, if I only had a hammer....

You do! You just need to learn how to use it.

I thought he was pretty good in the film "Eagle Eye". His co-star was good also...
