Hello everyone.

My father Passed his Citizenship Interview a week ago, and I was wondering how long after the interview should he expect to get the Oath Ceremony Letter and appointment? And how long in advance will they let Him know. Im asking because Im have to go over sea's to get something's done before my Husbands Interview, And my father is comming with me. And we dont want him to miss the Oath Ceremony.

02-14-10: Medical exam (Passed)

03-17-10: Interview (Approved But Pending AP.)

12-01-10: Embassy Calls Husband To Send In Passport Finally After Almost 9 months Of AP!!

12-01-10: Husband Sends In Passport Via Aramex

12-11-10: Husband Picks Up Visa

12-14-10: Flight Booked

12-22-10: USA Entry[/color]

Congratulations to your father.

It is difficult to tell about the Oath ceremony if they are sending you a letter. Sometimes it is near or sometimes they allow enough time depending on your local office.

My suggestion is for your father not to travel with you because he can get the letter the next day after he leaves.

08/08/11 .. Received text/e-mail: Placed in line for interview scheduling

09/12/11 .. Received Yellow letter dated 9/7/11

09/13/11 .. Received text/e-mail: Interview scheduled

09/16/11 .. Received interview letter

10/19/11 .. Interview - PASSED

10/20/11 .. Received text/email: Oath scheduled

10/22/11 .. Received OATH letter

11/09/11 .. Oath ceremony
