It means your petition has been approved with USCIS. What visa have you applied for? Without knowing what visa you are working with, its hard to tell you what the next steps in the process are. I guess "half way to success" is a good way to put it.

After the NOA2 your petition is going to be sent to NVC. Usually NVC reviews and sends the cases off to your consulate fairly quickly. The consulate you will be interviewing in will then send you a packet 3 with several forms to fill out and other information and documentation for you to gather in preparation for your interview. Then you need to book and attend a medical. After the consulate books an interview date they will send you a letter with the date and time. Some foreign consulates have different procedures for this, allowing you to call and book your own time. Here in Canada Montreal and Vancouver set your interview dates.

Thank you very much for all information.

You should have by now, your RDJ # [which is new case # in Brazil]. It takes around 2 weeks tops for your case to reach Rio. We [my fiancée and I], email the embassy with our new case # [RDJ] to schedule our interview. This will skip the package 3 and 4 and put you ahead of the game..

"Peace is not the product of terror or fear. Peace is not the silence of cemeteries. Peace is not the silent result of violent repression. Peace is the generous, tranquil contribution of all to the good of all. Peace is dynamism. Peace is generosity. It is right and it is duty." -- NAPF page on Oscar Romero
