Hard work it may be, but do I want to see it? No! I also would prefer not to see any of your x-rays, cat scans, blood test results, or pictures of your childbirth.

Many thanks in advance :star:

Wow, it appears that some people have their snarkiness detectors set to "off".

Holy cow! How dare anyone malign sigs? Oh heaven forfend! What IS the world coming to? Someone fetch my smelling salts, I feel a spell coming on.

I hardly ever venture out of OT and I am not rude. That's a very big generalization. I am also skilled at the art of nose breathing :)

Sadly the stupid quote doesn't include the quote I quoted. My comment was not directed toward you, specifically. And big generalization it may be, but I often find that genralizations come about for a reason. :star:

Let's try to keep things civil. There is no need to insult others. If people have a problem with signature sizes, please report it to a mod and we will look into it. If you don't want to see signatures at all you can disable the function. To have or not have, to see or not see signatures really is a personal choice, and sometimes it is just a matter of finding that balance between personal expression and community suitability. It won't be the same for everyone.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Not that I've ever seen any of your posts before

I love how this is supposed to matter... it's the second time I've seen it in the last few days; 'I've never noticed you before so you don't count'

well, there are plenty of people I've never seen before, you amongst them Susita, but that makes no difference to whether I think your sig is appropriate or not

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

Hey first of all I didn't say it like that, and that is totally twisting my words. What I mean is that I've never crossed paths with them before. Anyone who knows me on here will know I would never be so rude as to come out and say someone doesn't matter. I guess the bad thing about texting/message boards/etc is that there's no 'tone of voice' to go with what you say, so things can be taken in various different ways, bad or good.

The reason I said that was because I post in maybe, a total of 3 threads and post in threads that pop up in the Peru portal. I have never had anyone mention anything about having a problem with my signature having a picture of my baby in it.

Is there a full moon out tonight? Everyone is seriously on edge... maybe I'm just more laid back than most but hardly anything really bothers me, especially on the internet. (Well unless it's a stupid relative of mine being a pain in the you know what).

I have a good example: I hate those "farmville, mafia wars, and cafe world" posts that come up on my facebook but I've learned how to block them. And a lot of my friends like that. I'm not going to tell them not to play just because I personally don't like the stupid notifications. Signatures are blockable too :)

NCIS marathon is on USA. It is calling my name

Wow. That's unncessarily rude. But I don't expect much more from OT mouth breathers.

I post on one thread in OT. *shrug* I don't sugar coat anything I say.

Very very classy.

Susi is like a sister to me. If you don't like it, you were given options to alleviate the situation, but you don't need to call her out.

To be honest, I don't have a major problem with the ultrasound pictures (if I did I would have to ask Joyce to remove hers), but there have been one or 2 that have made me want to turn off the pictures on the internet....forever. I'm not naming names (and no Susita, it's not you).

the Joyce fetus is the ultimate fetus

I admit glittering everything on blingie.com is going a little far

I know where you're coming from, Trompe. (And no, I'm not referring to Susita either.) In fact the sig that offends me most is not even a picture, but a statement in the sig of a long-time member that I have no beef with and who I think gives great advice and is very kind. However, I disagree wholeheartedly with the statement in the sig and it makes me angry every time I see it. The 3-D fetus pictures are a bit gross to look at FOR ME because I am not the mom-to-be (to whom I assume they are gorgeous). I am a well-known she-woman baby-hater, after all and although I still think they look like little mummies I am sure they are beautiful to their mothers. (The mummies' mummies?)

I don't need to turn sigs off because frankly so much of it is the whimsical f*ckery I complained of before and truly boring stats, and I can ignore it easily. If I think what you have to say is boring, I turn my internal auto-filter on and don't even process it. Actually, some of the best laughs I have had on VJ are at unintentionally hilarious sigs with blingee Jesuses and homemade photomontages worthy of the Sears Portrait Studio in 1982. What I have to say about "Booooo! No sigs!" or "Go sigs!" carries about as much weight around here as any of us who fly under the radar.

Chill. It's Friday night, go have a beer (if you're so inclined). Susita, go put yer feet up and watch NCIS.

Edited: I got my long-running investigative television programme wrong there! Oops.
