Other than a return plane ticket, what counts as "Strong Ties" to Canada? My wife is flying down on Sunday to visit me for the next two weeks.

Visitation FAQ's

Thanks all. Much appreciated. We'll hang in Arizona for a few days then fly to the Riviera Maya for a week, then back to AZ and then home to more waiting lol.

Sounds awesome! Have a great trip!

Congrats on a successful entry! Have a wonderful time!

Ya so I cleared customs coming in from Vancouver, went on our honeymoon and got back tonight. I'll be here in the USA a few more days then head home to Canada. Oddly enough, I realized that I had not taken any of my strong ties to Canada when we left for the Riviera Maya - so I get to Dallas Texas and realize I'm entering the USA at this POE and I've got NONE of my evidence. In all the POE was great, I had absolutely no problem but he was certainly asking some questions particularly about how it works having a wife in the USA and me living in Canada etc ie lots of commuting (his words). I had no problem whatsoever but realize that this could have been a real issue for me. So just a thought for anyone in any similar situation....

Once when Bobby and I were dating I realized on the flight that I had forgotten to print my return ticket. The guy gave me a bit of a hard time but let me in.

Since then I have always had prove. I have had to use it 3 times but as a result have never had to go to secondary.

Interview is in 3 weeks.. I can't wait to cross freely.
